i always answer: fresh air.
five years ago，i step off the pne from china， and left the terminaldal readyputonemy five face masks， but when i tookfirst breathamericamask away.
the air wassweet and fresh， and oddly luxurious.
i was surprised bin a citychina， where i hadwear a face mask every time i went outside， otherwise， i might get sick.
however， the moment i inhaled and exhaled outside the airport.
i felt free.
no more fogmy gsses，more difficult breathing，more suppression.
every breath wasstand here today， i cannot help， but recall that feelingfreedom.
at the universitymarynd， i would soon feel another kindfresh air for which i willforever grateful the fresh airfree speech.
before i cameunited states， i learnedhistory css about the decrationindependence， but these words hadmeaningme life， liberty and the pursuithappiness.
i was merely memorizing the wordsget good grades.

i could challenge a statement madem even rateprofessors online.
but nothing preparedfor the culture shock i experienced when i watched a university productionthe py twilight: los angeles.

i have seen that everyone has a rightparticipate and advocate for change.
i usedbelieve that one individual participation could not make a difference， but hereare， united terps.
